Victor Guadagno is the sole proprietor of Full Circle Production. Here is a brief history:
Over the past twenty years I have dedicated my time and energy to developing production skills, building community, understanding & communicating solutions to environmental issues, and advocating for sustainable development. My goal is to work directly with decision makers, and to seek the basic skills of honesty, integrity and responsibility, while demonstrating simple methods to achieving a sustainable culture. In 2005 I joined forces with Brad Johanson and formed BordertownI received a degree in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. I chose to seek solutions, and to communicate and educate through media production. During this time in Boston, I worked for the CBS affiliate as Production Assistant for the regionally based documentary program called "Our Times". I was next hired as Stage Manger for the evening news.
While traveling in Guatemala in 1997, I came across the design science called Permaculture. Here was a whole system design science for human settlement, as well as an exponentially growing educational system. With my academic knowledge of whole system design, and a sincere commitment to the environment, community development and communication, I found Permaculture provided all the elements to allow me to be part of the solution. I committed time and energy to help advocate for this design technique. I work closely with the Permaculture Research Institute in NSW Australia. I am also active in the development of the Permaculture Academy.
In 1998 I obtained a job to develop the reuse strategy for the deactivated Louisiana Army Ammunition Plant. Between 1998 and 2001, I was the Program Manager for the Northwest Louisiana Commerce Center, the Eco-Industrial Park developed as the reuse strategy for this facility. I was able to combine all of my past experience and skills to advocate for sustainable development. Using Permaculture, and the emerging field of Industrial Ecology. Over a four-year period I assembled a team of 15 experts, and we developed a successful method to continue Industrial Development on a regional level, while enhancing both the environment and the social standard of living. Members of that team have since formed Full Circle, LLC, and we continue to collaborate on simiiar projects.
While at the NWLCC I recruited and managed a team of 15 professionals, who collectively increased tenant revenue from $185K to a projected income in 2002 of $2.1M. The team established a Permaculture Outreach Site in the host town of Minden, Louisiana, generated $220K in the form of an Army research grant, and conducted three Permaculture Design Certificate Courses. Square One, LLC was developed as a result of this experience and continues to seek opportunities associated with sustainable development
With an emphasis on information systems and video/audio production, I have spent the past twenty years telling stories through various media.
Full Circle Production is based in Boulder Colorado.
